Utility Pre-Application
We submit the utility interconnection pre-application immediately — transformer upgrades and service installations have 6–18 month lead times and must start first.
Civil & Electrical Design
Charging layout, conduit routing, service entrance design, and ADA compliance plan submitted for permitting concurrently with utility application.
Civil & Electrical Construction
Trenching, conduit, switchgear, service entrance, charger pad construction, and bollards installed while utility transformer work proceeds in parallel.
EVSE Installation & Commissioning
Chargers installed, utility connects, network provisioned, and site tested to FHWA or client acceptance standards.

How long does a DCFC project take from start to finish?
Utility interconnection is the governing path. Simple service upgrades take 3–6 months; new transformer installations can take 12–18 months. We pursue early utility application aggressively to minimize schedule impact.
Can solar and battery storage reduce operating costs at a DCFC site?
Yes — demand charges from high-power DCFC sessions are the largest operating cost. Battery storage (BESS) can dramatically reduce peak demand charges. We design integrated solar+storage+DCFC systems on the same project.
Are your crews NEVI-qualified?
Yes — we follow NEVI program requirements including Qi certification, UL 9741 compliance, and the required documentation for federally funded charging projects.
